ACE-CA Foundation Course: January 2025
Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) is a non-profit organization of Muslim Professionals for the overall development of the Community and the Nation. AMP has completed 16 years of its existence, working in domains of Education, Employment & Economic Empowerment. We have inspired and convened Professionals from all walks of life and in the process uplifted several thousand people from the underprivileged sections of society.
All of us have noticed the absence or very low representation of Muslim students in the TOP career opportunities or TOP institutions of the Country. There is a strong need of providing access and opportunity to the Young Bright Minds across India and prepare them to appear in the elite entrance examinations of our country.
Thus, AMP now plans to move one step upwards by filling this gap by establishing AMP Centre of Excellence (ACEs) across the country and also by starting purely online or hybrid models of Coaching for these examinations. These coaching will be available to everyone across the country, so that no meritorious students are left without an equal opportunity.
AMP has partnered with Gravity Classes from Lucknow for NEET and JEE and running these courses successfully since 2022
This year we are introducing CA foundation Course with our Knowledge partner High Q Professional Academy a leading coaching center in Chennai delivering top results over the years for CA, CS and CMA
Role of AMP
Mobilizing registrations of students from across India through its Chapters, NGO Partners, Institutions, Campus Ambassadors and Schools & Coaching Classes
AMP’s role will be limited to getting students registered & monitor the feedback of students along with the final results.
Role of HighQ Classes
Entire processing of registration of students, fees collection, Training /Coaching, feedback session, daily doubt session, online library facilities, recorded lecture on app, all study material in pdf copy and conducting online test will be managed by HighQ classes.
AMP will play the role of a Facilitator & the entire fee has to be paid online to HighQ Classes.
About CA foundation Course:
CA (Chartered Accountancy) is one of the most sought-after and respected professional courses in India. CA course involves three levels of exams, which must be cleared by the candidate to become a Chartered Accountant; CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final. After clearing all three levels of the CA course, candidates can avail of numerous job opportunities such as working in reputed accounting firms, corporate organizations, or starting their own consulting practice.
CA Foundation is the first level of the CA course and is a gateway to the further levels of the course. It is an objective and subjective type exam comprising of four subjects – Accounting, Business Law, Economics and Quantitative Aptitude open to students who have completed their 12th grade or appearing for 12th. Students can write the exam right after they finish their 12th Board Exam
The Foundation Course comprises of four papers, each carrying 100 marks.
- Paper 1: Principles and Practice of Accounting
- Paper 2: Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting
- Paper 3: Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics
- Paper 4: Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge
Lecture Plan:
The new batch will commence on 1st August 2024and conclude on 15th December 2024 .
Lectures will be held from Monday to Saturday at 4 PM to 8 PM
Each day will feature two subjects, or a single subject depending on its weightage effectively 3 hr 45 minutes per lecture
The medium of instruction will be exclusively in English. Time scheduled for the foundation Course- ACCOUNTING - 150 HOURS
- BUSINESS LAW - 90 HOURS
- QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE - 170 HOURS
- BUSINESS ECONOMICS - 90 HOURS
Hybrid Mode: The lectures will be live on Zoom and an option to view recorded will be accessible through our dedicated app HighQ. Assignments and tests will be uploaded to the app for continuous assessment and practice. Soft copy materials will also be available in the app for easy access and reference.
Exam Pattern:
- Papers 1 and 2: These are fully descriptive exams, requiring detailed written responses. Each exam lasts for 3 hours.
- Papers 3 and 4: These are conducted in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format, testing students on their objective understanding. The duration for these exams is also 3 hours each.
- Passing Criteria: To pass the Foundation Course, candidates must score a minimum of 200 marks in aggregate out of 400.
NOTE: Additionally, it is mandatory to secure at least 40% in each individual subject.
The Foundation Course exams are conducted three times a year, in January, June, and September.
